Chateau Rouge

Dit kasteel dat, vroeger een hotel wel, staat onder urbexers bekend onder vele namen: Chateau Rouge, Chateau Bambi, Chateau Les Chambres, … Het kasteel is voorlopig gespaard gebleven van vandalisme en is nog vrij goed intact.

Wat dit kasteel zo bijzonder maakt is dat bijna alle meubels, zowel in de slaapkamers als in de salon en de eetplaats, nog aanwezig zijn. Met hier en daar een likje verf zou je er zo goed als onmiddellijk kunnen intrekken bij wijze van spreken.

De bibliotheek met een vrij uitgebreide collectie

Op hetzelfde terrein bevindt zich nog een ander gebouw dat in een veel verdere staat van ontbinding is. Het feit dat dit gebruikt wordt door airsofters kan hier natuurlijk wel iets mee te maken hebben. Bij een bezoek aan dit kasteel is het dus uitkijken geblazen dat je deze personen niet tegen het lijf loopt.
